A strategic approach to branding for design studios

Studio Sulis helps architecture, interiors and landscape design practices communicate their work with greater clarity, consistency and authority.

Our approach combines clear strategy and refined design, creating brands that feel aligned with the quality and direction of your work.

Why branding matters for design studios

Many design studios produce exceptional work but struggle to articulate it in a way that reflects its true value.

As practices grow, evolve, and move into more competitive or higher-value markets, the gap between work and perception becomes more visible.

Branding is often treated as a surface layer, when in reality it plays a critical role in how studios are understood, commissioned and remembered. Our work focuses on closing that gap.

About Studio Sulis

Studio Sulis was founded in 2023 by Isabel Bishop, a brand strategist and designer.

With a background in graphic design, Isabel began her career collaborating with creative businesses across a range of design led industries. That early experience shaped an approach grounded in clarity, strategic thinking and thoughtful design.

The Studio Sulis approach begins with understanding the studio in depth, its direction, ambitions and how it wants to be perceived. From there, we develop clear strategic foundations that shape how the brand communicates across every touchpoint.

Many of the studios we work with are repositioning for higher value projects, refining their identity, or aligning their brand presence with the calibre of their work.

The aim is always to create brands that feel clear, refined and strategically grounded.

Ready to elevate your brand?

Studio Sulis works closely with a small number of studios each year, delivering thoughtful and strategic branding for ambitious design practices.

We typically work with studios who are evolving. Whether that’s refining their positioning, attracting higher-value projects, or aligning their brand with the level of work they are already delivering.

If that sounds like where your studio is heading, we’d be interested to hear from you.
